Matt Greene is a Pennsylvania hiker who has been missing for 22 days. He was last seen on July 17, 2013. It is believed that he was heading for the Mammoth Lakes area which is close to the Yosemite National Park in California.
Matt is 39 years old and is 5’11” and weighs in at 155 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown/blonde hair. He may be traveling with a black and white backpack.
According to Matt’s family, he was on a trip with his friends to go climbing and hiking. During the trip, his car broke down and he told them he would meet up with them later. Unfortunately, he did not meet up with them at the agreed upon time.
The missing hiker’s friends and family have created a Facebook page to assist in locating him. It is called “Find Matthew Greene” and you can find the link by clicking on his name. They are posting all available information to assist searchers in finding Matt. They have also uploaded up-to-date photos of Matt to Flickr. Click the link to view them.

Many hikers are joining up to go to the Mammoth Lakes area to search for him. Anyone who wants to join a search group and help out can post on the Facebook page to find out more information.
It is important to get the word out to as many people as possible. Many hikers visit the area where Matt is believed to have gone and someone who does not watch the news may recognize his picture.
Matt is an experienced hiker and it is believed that he had certain hiking equipment items with him. However, he has been out there for 22 days and it is time for him to be found.
Please go to the Find Matthew Greene Facebook page and save his flyer. Many people are using it as their Facebook profile picture for a few days in hopes that someone will see it and remember seeing him on the trail.
